Daniel Sanchez Estrada, charged in connection with a July 4 shooting outside Prairieland Detention Center, turned himself back in after authorities say he was mistakenly released due to a clerical error, NewsRadio 1080 KRLD reported. Estrada, who was freed the day before Thanksgiving, is accused of concealing a box containing anti-government materials following what investigators described as a coordinated attack on the facility.

Federal officials have not disclosed the specific paperwork mistake that led to his release, but the U.S. Marshals Service and federal courts are reviewing how the error occurred. Estrada is now back in custody as the case proceeds.
