Sports Media Texas Hall of Famer Randy Galloway says Cooper Flagg has become one of the most compelling stories in Dallas sports.
During the latest episode of Dallas Express Sports Network, Galloway joined Mark Elfenbein and Chris Yates to discuss why the Mavericks rookie has captured his attention — and why he believes Flagg has done enough to be considered the NBA Rookie of the Year.
“The Cooper Flagg story right now intrigues me more than any really story we have,” Galloway said.
Galloway pointed to Flagg’s age, attitude, and early impact, saying the 18-year-old has handled the pressure in a way that stands out even in a city with no shortage of major sports storylines.
The conversation also turned playful when Elfenbein and Yates pushed Galloway to come out of retirement for one more major sit-down — this time with Flagg himself.
