Emmy Award–winning sports reporter and trailblazer Bonnie-Jill Laflin is joining the Dallas Express Sports Network team as a reporter and host, where she will continue her coverage of the Dallas Cowboys, including training camp, while contributing across studio shows and delivering in-depth coverage of one of the most iconic franchises in sports.
As part of her role, Laflin will debut a new feature segment series titled “Game Changers with Bonnie-Jill,” featuring local sports legends sharing powerful stories on and off the field, along with engaging, fun segments.
Laflin brings a groundbreaking and multifaceted background to the Dallas Express Sports Network. She made history as the first female scout in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers, earning five NBA championship rings and breaking barriers at the highest level of professional sports.
A former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Laflin also held the title of Miss Dallas/Fort Worth USA and has built a nationally recognized career as a sports reporter and host.
In addition to her work in sports media, Laflin is the best-selling author of In A League of Her Own, a celebrated book celebrating female firsts in sports, further cementing her role as a voice for leadership and trailblazing achievement.

Beyond her work in sports media, Laflin is the founder of Hounds, Heroes & Horses, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs and pairing them with disabled veterans and first responders, while also providing equine therapy through rescued horses.
Laflin resides in Fort Worth, where she lives on her ranch with her rescued animals.
