The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspected culprits of two shootings over the weekend.

Dallas police were called to a shooting at an Exxon gas station at 9531 C.F. Hawn Freeway. When police arrived at the scene, a 35-year-old man had been shot in the incident. He was taken to a local hospital where he is receiving treatment and is in stable condition.

As of Monday morning, Dallas police have no information that points to the shooter or that can lead to an arrest except for a surveillance camera video that captures him. The department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the shooter.

According to the police description, he is between 5-feet-10-inches tall and 6 feet tall. He is also described as heavyset with “long, thick black hair” and as being somewhere between 30 to 40 years old. Police say that he was driving a red four-door sedan with a sunroof.

After midnight at 12:15 a.m., police got another notification of a shooting in the 3300 block of Munger Avenue. According to police, officers found a 13-year-old boy who had been shot in the leg. The boy told officers that he heard gunshots and noticed he had been shot. His injuries are non-life-threatening, and police have transported the boy to a local hospital where he is being treated as police continue to investigate the shooting and find the person responsible for it.
