U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 131 illegal aliens suspected of gang ties nationwide October 4-10, according to figures and a statement the Department of Homeland Security provided to Fox News Digital.
The arrests included 22 alleged MS-13 members and 13 alleged Tren de Aragua members. ICE has made 12,018 gang-related arrests since President Donald Trump returned to office in 2025, the department said.
“Arresting and deporting illegal aliens, especially gang members, is how we make America safe again,” Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in the statement.
Homicide fugitive and suspected hitman
Agents arrested Gustavo Adolfo Flores-Ramirez, a Salvadoran national whom DHS identified as an MS-13 member, in Las Vegas. Authorities in El Salvador seek him for aggravated homicide, aggravated femicide, rape of a minor or incapacitated person, and other offenses, the department said.
Flores-Ramirez reentered the United States illegally after authorities deported him to Mexico following a September 2021 arrest, according to DHS.
ICE arrested Jose Luis Perez-Arrias, a Venezuelan national whom DHS described as a Tren de Aragua member and suspected hitman, in Tallahassee, Florida. Border Patrol agents arrested and released him after he entered illegally in October 2023 during the Biden administration, according to the department.
Attempted murder allegations
Agents also arrested Emerson Jossiel Calderon-Hernandez, a Salvadoran national and suspected MS-13 member, in Washington, D.C. His arrest record includes attempted murder, armed robbery, assault and false imprisonment, according to DHS. He entered illegally in August 2012 and authorities released him during the Obama administration, the department said.
In Denver, agents arrested an unnamed 14-year-old Venezuelan whom DHS linked to Los Piratas, a Tren de Aragua faction. He faces attempted first-degree murder, assault, kidnapping and other charges, and illegally carried a Glock 48 pistol when agents arrested him, according to DHS.
The Dallas Express previously covered a separate March 18-19 operation in Dallas that netted three men, including suspects linked to MS-13 and Tren de Aragua. That operation predates the October nationwide figures.
