Woman Found Dead From Homicidal Violence

The Dallas Police Department has revealed the identity of a woman who was found dead by alleged homicidal violence in the Ledbetter area of West Dallas.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were called to the 5000 block of Mexicana Road, just east of Loop 12, on May 18 at approximately 9:51 a.m. after a woman was found unresponsive in a vacant lot.

The Dallas Police Department said Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene from homicidal violence.

On May 20, Dallas police authorities identified the victim as 40-year-old Allisabith King. Investigators are still working to determine the motives and circumstances surrounding the homicide. The Dallas PD did not say if they had a person of interest in the case.

Authorities are asking anyone with information that might help solve the case to contact Homicide Detective Phillip Wheeler at 214-671-3686 or by email at [email protected]. The case number is 088226-2022.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment for the crime. Tips can be submitted by calling 214-373-8477.
