A Dallas man has died three weeks after being shot in what police are investigating as a homicide.
Ramiro Alonzo, 36, succumbed to his injuries on June 7 after being critically wounded in a May 17 shooting.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 10:30 p.m. on May 17. They found Alonzo shot at a residence in the 10800 block of Stallcup Drive.
Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Alonzo died from his injuries nearly three weeks later.
Dallas Police have not released information about potential suspects or motives. The investigation remains active under case number 070009-2025.
