A smoke shop burglar is on the loose in Dallas, and police need the public’s help locating him.

Around 3 a.m. on June 3, the suspect forced entry into the business in the 8900 block of E. RL Thornton Freeway, according to DPD.

Surveillance video shared by DPD shows the burglar loitering outside the building for several seconds before unsuccessfully attempting to throw a brick through the window.

After the first attempt, the suspect retrieved his projectile and made a second attempt. The glass door shattered, and the suspect entered the business.

He stole assorted vaping products from the store, according to DPD.

Police are currently investigating but have not identified any suspects.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the video or has any other information is encouraged to contact Detective Travis French at 214-671-0112 or by email at [email protected]
