Two separate shootings in Dallas left two people dead and two others wounded over the weekend, according to Dallas police.
The shootings occurred at different locations and involved separate victims. Police are investigating the circumstances and motives in both cases.
Woman Killed In Glen Trail Drive Shooting
The first shooting was reported around 10:08 p.m. on September 18 in the 6100 block of Trail Glen Drive in Southeast Dallas.
Officers responding to a shooting call found two women who had been shot at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced 22-year-old Zyaira Sterling dead at the location. The second woman was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Dallas police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting and its motive remain under investigation. The case is being tracked under number 137949-2026.

Man Killed In Crest Hill Road Shooting
Several hours later, officers were dispatched around 2:26 a.m. on September 19 to the 4000 block of Crest Hill Road in East Dallas following another report of a shooting.
A preliminary investigation found that two men had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced 35-year-old Everardo Suarez dead at the scene. The second man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Police said the motive and circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation. The case is being tracked under number 138058-2026.
