Two separate shootings occurred in Dallas on Sunday, leaving a total of two dead and two severely injured.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, a man was found dead in South Dallas on Sunday afternoon. The victim was not carrying an identification card, and the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify him.

Police said they received a call to investigate the death of a man found in an encampment at around 3:00 p.m. in an area near Dawson Street and Maple Avenue near Malcolm X Boulevard. It is unclear why the man ended up in the encampment or if it is related to any other crimes that have taken place in the area.
