Texas Fugitive Arrested for 31 Outstanding Felony Warrants

In northwest Harris County, a wanted Texas fugitive with thirty-one outstanding felony warrants was apprehended by deputies last week.

On April 19, 30-year-old Tyrus Turner was located after constable deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 received information regarding his whereabouts.

The department’s special operations teams served a felony warrant in the 7700 block of North Sam Houston Parkway West with the assistance of DPS air support. Turner was captured and taken into custody.

Turner’s open felony warrants, issued out of Arlington, Austin, and Fort Worth, as well as Travis, Bexar, and Harris counties, were all for burglary of a building or theft of property.

According to jail records, he is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
