Update posted May 2, 2025, at 9:34 a.m.: The 10-year-old girl, Skylar Beach, who was reported missing from Hamlin, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon, has been found safe, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.  She was believed to have been abducted by a man on a motorcycle, identified as 43-year-old Terry Jeter, prompting police to issue an Amber Alert early Thursday morning.

Beach was located at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Fox 4 KDFW reported.  No further details about the incident have been released, and the Amber Alert has been canceled.

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for 10-year-old Skylar Beach, who was last seen in Hamlin, Texas, and is believed to have been abducted by a 43-year-old man, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Beach was last seen around 4 p.m. on Wednesday in the 500 block of Northwest Avenue G in Hamlin, a small town approximately 190 miles west of Fort Worth. She is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 78 pounds, with red or auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, pink shorts, and red Converse shoes, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The suspect, identified as Terry Jeter, 43, is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Jeter was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Authorities believe he may be traveling with Beach on a black 2002 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle with Texas license plate 138A4V, as reported by the Hamlin Police Department.

The Hamlin Police Department is leading the investigation and has provided a contact number for tips at (325) 823-4604. Anyone who sees Beach, Jeter, or the motorcycle is urged to call 911 immediately.
The Amber Alert was issued early Thursday morning, and authorities are working to locate the child and the suspect. No additional details about the circumstances of the abduction or the relationship between Beach and Jeter, if any, have been released at this time.
