Teen Found Dead Outside Abandoned Incinerator Identified

The 18-year-old killed in the paved area of an abandoned incinerator in Fort Worth on Saturday was identified as Leonardo Armando Rosales, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Rosales passed away at the 3200 block of Yuma Drive, located in south Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Police Department officers discovered his body while on patrol.

The cause of death was “several sharp force injuries and gunshot wounds.”

Investigators believe that the teenager succumbed to his injuries at around 9 a.m. on June 4.
Homicide detectives are gathering evidence but have not made an arrest or publicly named a suspect.

Funeral services for Rosales were held on Monday at the Carrillo Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
