Suspect Sought for Southwest Dallas Homicide

A man was shot to death outside a southwest Dallas business Sunday, and the shooter is still on the loose.

DPD officers were dispatched to the 500 block of N. Gilpin Road around 3:16 a.m on June 12.

They found Christian Erik Martinez, 25, lying unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds outside the front entrance of a business.

Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedics rushed the wounded Martinez to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Dallas police continue investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding this incident. As of Monday, they have not yet named a suspect.
