Dallas recorded seven homicide victims in a four-day span from October 5 to October 7, including a triple killing in West Dallas, a domestic shooting, and a stabbing that claimed the life of an unborn child.
According to the Dallas Police Department (DPD), each case remains under investigation, with one suspect already in custody.
Oct. 5 – 8800 Block of Ferguson Road (Far East Dallas)
Officers responded around 1:20 a.m. to a shooting call and found two people shot.
Anthony Torres, 23, later died at the hospital; the second victim survived.
A grand-jury referral will be submitted to the Dallas County District Attorney.

Oct. 5 – 3800 Block of Bernal Drive (West Dallas)
Police found three men shot to death around 5:50 a.m.
Victims were identified as Pedro Lara Roa, 47; Pedro Lara, 21; and a third, unidentified male discovered inside a vehicle.
DPD confirmed the two Laras were related.

Oct. 5 – 2600 Block of Myrtle Springs Avenue (Northwest Dallas)
A pregnant woman was stabbed by an unknown suspect around 6:35 a.m.
She survived her injuries, but her unborn child was killed.
DPD classified the case as a homicide, and the suspect remains at large.

Oct. 6 – 4500 Block of Metropolitan Avenue (South Dallas)
Officers arrived around 7:15 p.m. to find Anthony Anderson, 32, shot by an unknown suspect.
He was transported to a hospital, where he died.

Oct. 7 – 2500 Block of West Wheatland Road (Southwest Dallas)
Police responded to reports of a shooting around 1:00 p.m.
Cecilia Simpson, 41, was found shot multiple times and later died at the hospital.
Keona Hampton, 22, was arrested the same day and charged with Murder.
