Second Victim in Old East Dallas Drive-By Shooting Dies

A woman injured in an Old East Dallas drive-by shooting has died.

According to The Dallas Morning News, 37-year-old Rocio Carrillo died on April 23 after she was shot in the 3200 block of Jerome Street, south of Interstate 30 near Dolphin Road, on April 10 at around 2 a.m.

Dallas Police officers responded to the shooting scene and found Carrillo and two other men shot. The three victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where one of the men, identified as Carlos Galindo, 36, was pronounced dead.

Police said the Dallas County medical examiner’s office, which listed the female victim’s first name as Marisol, confirmed her death on April 23.

On April 27, Dallas Police confirmed that no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting.
