Rowlett police are searching for 17-year-old Xavier Sen’cer Stevenson, identified as the suspect in the shooting of a 15-year-old during an aggravated robbery on Friday, June 13, authorities said.

The incident occurred at 3:28 p.m. in the 5600 block of Rowlett Road, where the victim, who was with his brother, was shot in the head during a planned meeting to sell items in a business parking lot. Officers arrived to find the teen with a gunshot wound. Police provided medical aid before the Rowlett Fire Department transported him to a local hospital, where he survived the shooting.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage showing the suspect, described as a black male approximately 17 to 19 years old, entering a nearby store shortly before the robbery. He was wearing a red hoodie, red slides, and light-colored Nike shorts. Police say the suspect, identified as Stevenson, fled westbound across Rowlett Road toward Maple Lane. He is wanted for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
