A Red Bird neighborhood recreation center shooting injured two people on Tuesday, leaving one critically wounded.

Around 8:30 p.m. on May 10, Dallas Police arrived at the Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center located at the 5100 block of Mark Trail Way and discovered the victims.

The two individuals were walking in the parking lot when a person in a vehicle fired shots at them before speeding away.

Both victims were reportedly transported to a local hospital. One victim is in stable condition and expected to be okay, while the other is in critical condition. The police have withheld their identities.
