Lake Worth police reportedly seized about $2.3 million worth of drugs in Lake Worth, a small suburb of Fort Worth.

Officers allegedly found a pill press machine and drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, promethazine syrup, and Xanax in a home in Lake Worth.

The bust also yielded 11 illegal high-powered weapons, as reported by FOX 4 News.

Police arrested 43-year-old Jon Curb, who was inside the home. The bust was carried out after police obtained a warrant for his arrest based on multiple overdose calls that traced back to his address.

Neighbors also reported suspicious activity as well as constant traffic in and out of the house.

Lake Worth Police Detective Landon Rollins told FOX 4 that Curb was resistant when officers got into the home and did not obey commands.

Curb now faces multiple illegal drugs and weapons charges.

The illegal drug bust is the largest one in the history of Lake Worth PD.

According to Lake Worth Police Chief Jay Manoushagian, the drugs found in the home mostly contained amphetamines.

“Detectives seized 3390 grams of suspected amphetamine,” he said.

Manoushagian also said that the fentanyl seized amounted to 18.6 grams. That seemingly small number is enough to kill up to 9,300 people, the police chief said. He also said that the drugs found in the home could kill more than 11,000 people.

“You could not step in this house without stepping on a meth pipe, empty baggies, paraphernalia,” Detective Rollins said. “It was in every room of this house, every nook and cranny.”

Police say Curb’s arrest was just the beginning, as federal authorities have taken up the case.
