A Fort Worth police officer was arrested on June 2 on a charge of alleged domestic violence that occurred while he was off duty.

Victor Rucker, 49, a seven-year veteran of the Fort Worth Police Department, is on restricted duty and was stripped of all policing powers pending ongoing criminal and administrative investigations, according to the CBS DFW.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office promised a thorough investigation of the allegations, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

No additional information about Rucker’s arrest was released by press time.
