Fort Worth Police say a search is ongoing for a man they suspect of fatally shooting a man outside a Fort Worth nightclub on September 11.
About 1:30 a.m. that morning, officers with the Fort Worth PD responded to a shooting call at El Duranguense Night Club, located in the 3700 block of Mansfield Highway. When they got there, they found 33-year-old Hector Marron-Ramirez had been shot, according to police. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the shooting happened when a man was not allowed entry into the club. He had gone to his vehicle to get a gun, which he fired multiple times in front of the club. Marron-Ramirez, who was standing outside the club during the gunfire, got hit.
While authorities have not identified the suspect by name, they are hoping residents can help get him. Officers described him as a Hispanic male standing 6 feet and weighing between 220 and 250 pounds. He is estimated to be in his mid-30s.
Fort Worth Police are also asking that people be on the lookout for a late 90s model white Ford Ranger, which they said he was driving when he left the shooting scene.
