Man killed on Simpson Stuart Road:

Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Friday afternoon, according to a news release.

Officers responded to a shooting call on March 31 at about 4:05 p.m. in the 3500 block of Simpson Stuart Road.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

The victim was shot by an unknown suspect, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.

The shooting incident occurred in District 8, represented by Dallas City Council Member Tennell Atkins.

Man Shot Dead in Middle of Street:

A man was found lying unresponsive on March 28, as Dallas police responded to a shooting call, according to a news release.

Police responded to the call at about 5:10 p.m. in the 3900 block of Diamond Avenue, located in District 7, which is represented by Dallas City Council Member Adam Bazaldua.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man whom police later identified as 43-year-old Khari Brown.

Officers found Brown lying in the middle of the street, suffering from a gunshot wound. Brown was transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Bazaldua has been named The Dallas Express Crime Boss multiple times.

Man Found Dead at Lamont Avenue:

Police are investigating yet another victim of a homicide, according to a news release by the Dallas Police Department.

Officers responded to a shooting call on Thursday, March 30, at about 11:21 p.m. in the 2100 block of Lamont Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

After investigating, police determined that an unknown suspect had shot the victim.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead after succumbing to his injuries, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing.

The shooting incident occurred in District 4, led by Dallas City Council Member and Mayor Pro Tempore Carolyn King Arnold.

Dallas continues to see a surge in violent crime — especially murder, which has seen a nearly 30% increase year-to-date, according to the Dallas Police Daily Crime Brief.
