OH NOOO!!!!! A crime committed in North Dallas and the media actually mentioned North Dallas in the body of the sentence? But the didnt mention North Dallas in the click bait headlines. They always mention South Dallas or Oak Cliff in the subject of the crime so you dont have to read the narrative to know where that crime happened. This is the issue ive always had with the media in Dallas. How it tries to protect its “pure North Dallas” reputation while destroying anything south of the Trinity or downtown. I lived in Oak Cliff 20 years and my neighborhood was safer thsn a lot of North Dallas areas but was still lumped in with South Dallas crime statistics.
