A man was shot and killed Friday morning at a home on East Shore Circle in Dallas, according to police. The suspect — described as someone known to the victim — was taken into custody and will face murder charges.
The deadly encounter marks another homicide in the city as violent crime continues to afflict Dallas neighborhoods. Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting or specified the relationship between the two individuals involved.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Shore Circle at approximately 10:15 a.m. on June 13 after receiving reports of gunfire. Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel arrived but were unable to save the victim, who died at the scene.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing under case number 084106-2025.
