Man Fatally Shot Behind Local Skating Rink

Police are seeking information from the public on the death of a man discovered behind a Dallas ice skating rink on Sunday.

Around 3:25 a.m. on July 17, police were called to Southern Skates Roller Rink in the 2900 block of East Ledbetter Drive, close to Sunnyvale Street, where they encountered a man suffering from several gunshot wounds behind the building.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the body. An investigation is ongoing.
