Fort Worth police arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed her husband on Saturday, according to The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Fort Worth PD officers responded to a home in the 700 block of River Hill Lane at about 4:30 a.m. after getting a call about a stabbing incident. Responding officers found a man who had been stabbed in his abdomen.

Police said the victim’s wife, identified as Halley Nyhus, 28, allegedly stabbed him once in the abdomen after an argument between the couple turned violent on August 13.

Police did not say what the couple was arguing about. The suspect faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It is not clear whether she has an attorney.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to JPS Hospital for medical treatment. His condition was listed as critical.
