A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting that took place at an Arlington apartment complex. The suspect now identified as 32-year-old Darius Brown has been accused of the shooting death of the victim, identified as Donald Hunt, police said.

On August 26, officers were called to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Cypress Club Drive after getting a call about a reported shooting.

When Arlington police arrived, they found Hunt lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, Hunt was in a relationship with a relative of Brown’s.

Detectives believe the two got into an argument about the relative that was inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.

Police believe the argument between Hunt and Brown is what led up to the shooting.

Arlington police said that Brown was tracked down and arrested on September 3, by the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force.

Brown has been charged with Hunt’s murder.
