Fort Worth Police are searching for the suspect responsible for shooting a 14-year-old boy on Tuesday.
Authorities were dispatched to Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital in Burleson at 3:24 a.m. on July 12 in response to a juvenile seeking care for a gunshot wound to the leg.
The teen was driven to the hospital by his stepmother in a private vehicle, according to a police call log.
The victim informed police that he was with a friend at the Park at Sycamore Apartments, located at 3801 Sycamore School Rd. when he was shot.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to the police, and there is no suspect in custody.
