The driver of a sports car died in a fiery crash after losing control of the vehicle on Friday, August 5.

Dallas Police said the crash happened in the 7100 block of East Grand Avenue just before 10 p.m. They explained that a blue 2010 Chevy Camaro crossed over the left curb, went into the grass median, hit a tree, and then hit a light pole.

The impact of the crash put the car in flames. The driver died at the scene.

Police did not release the driver’s name, age, or gender.
