An arrest was made after a chase in Fort Worth Sunday evening, which ended with the suspect crashing into a homeowner’s fence in Arlington, reported Fox 4.
The incident began when an officer spotted a vehicle with a stolen plate driving at the intersection of East Berry and Martin Luther King Freeway at around 9 p.m., law enforcement officials explained.
Police attempted to stop the driver of a silver Ford SUV, but the driver continued, sped up, and tried to avoid the police officer.
The vehicle eventually crashed into a fence around 9:43 p.m. near Wilshire Boulevard and Walnut Drive, with the suspect — an adult male — being arrested.
Police are investigating whether or not the car was stolen along with the license plate.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The general lack of moral character in our country is the real problem. No personal responsibility, just do as you please, take what you don’t have the means to obtain with the proceeds of your labor, no respect for other people or the property they worked hard for. Very little penalty for breaking laws designed for a civilized society.
