Councilman Adam Bazaldua, representing Dallas’ District 7, is the Crime Boss of the Month (CBOM) runner-up for the second month in a row. Unfortunately for the residents of that region, the district surpassed July’s crime score increase of 10.39%, with the score shooting to 18.78% in August.

The Dallas Express CBOM for September was awarded to District 13 Councilwoman Gay Donnell Willis after that region saw a crime score increase by 23.11%, saving Bazaldua from earning the dubious title.

The Dallas Express has reached out to Bazaldua’s office for comment on the crime increase, but like in August, no comments have been submitted by the District 7 councilman.
