A shooting on a Dallas service road left one person dead and another wounded early Wednesday morning, according to Dallas police.
Officers responded to the 7300 block of northbound Marvin D. Love service road around 2:40 a.m. on June 18, 2025.
Two people were shot at the scene, police said. Dallas Fire-Rescue crews pronounced one victim dead at the location.
The second victim suffered a graze wound. That person was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Police have not released the deceased victim’s identity, pending notification of the victim’s family.
Investigators are still working to piece together what led to the deadly encounter. The case remains open under number 086488-2025.
