Dallas Woman Fatally Shot on Sidewalk

A woman died on Monday after she was shot on a sidewalk in South Dallas, Dallas police announced.

At approximately 7:40 p.m. on October 3, officers responded to a shooting in the 4100 block of Hamilton Avenue, close to Lawhon Street. Upon arrival, they found a woman had been shot multiple times.

The woman, identified as Asia Womack, was taken to a hospital, but she did not survive her injuries.

Police did not provide further information regarding the case and said the investigation is ongoing. They are seeking the public’s help in solving the case and urge anyone with information that may shed light on the incident to contact Detective Derek Koerner at 214-671-3605 or by email at [email protected] and reference case number 180113-2022.

Tips directed to Crime Stoppers could earn the informant a reward of up to $5,000 if it helps authorities make an arrest or indictment in a case. Such tips can be anonymously directed 24/7 to 214-373-TIPS (8477).

    Someone knows who did this and they need to say something because this baby did not have to lose her life the way she did. It’s really sad🙏🏽
