Dallas police confiscated 35 kilograms (77 pounds) of methamphetamine valued at up to $1 million during a drug bust, targeting a high-level narcotics trafficker, authorities said.

The operation, conducted by the Dallas Police Department’s Special Investigations Division on April 15, also uncovered smaller quantities of cocaine and evidence of heroin distribution.

The seizure occurred during the execution of a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation, though the specific location was not disclosed. One individual was arrested in connection with the operation, which involved collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration task force.

“These illegal narcotics have a street value of $700,000 to $1 million,” the Dallas Police Department stated in a press release.

The investigation remains active, with no further details released about the suspect or the circumstances leading to the bust. The operation underscores the department’s ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the city, supported by federal partnerships.
