Dallas police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman seen on camera discharging a firearm during a confrontation that left another woman injured on June 30.
The incident occurred around 4:10 a.m. in the 4700 block of S. R. L. Thornton Freeway, according to authorities.
Police said the victim and suspect were involved in a brief verbal altercation at the gas pumps. During the argument, the victim slapped the suspect once, leading to a physical fight.
The suspect then left the location with a companion but returned about 15 minutes later. She exited her vehicle, chased the victim, and fired seven rounds.
Three rounds struck the victim in the leg. The suspect fled in a dark four-door sedan.
