Two longtime members of the Dallas Police Department — a sworn officer and a civilian employee — were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated on June 14, according to an official statement from DPD.
Officer Bradley Hance, badge #8569, was arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers. He has been with DPD since September 2004 and is currently assigned to the Unmanned Air Support Unit.
Eunsup Kim, a community outreach representative in the Office of Community Affairs, was arrested by Dallas police officers. He joined the department in June 1995.
Both men face Class B misdemeanor DWI charges and have been placed on administrative leave pending internal investigations.
The department has not released further details, and no public statements have been made by either employee. The arrests — occurring on the same day and involving two veteran staffers.
