Dallas Police Launch Manhunt For Redbird Area Murder Suspect

Dallas Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting incident that resulted in the death of 34-year-old Oliver Bradley. The incident occurred on May 12, 2024, around 2:05 A.M. in the 5100 block of S. Hampton Road near the Dallas Executive Airport in the Redbird area.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, the city saw a roughly 15% increase in murders last year, with the majority of victims logged as either black or Hispanic. Relatedly, the Dallas Police Department is short nearly 1,000 officers, according to a City analysis.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Bradley was fatally shot, and further inquiries have led authorities to identify a suspect, whose image has been released. The shooting occurred in Council Member Zarin Gracey’s District 3.
