Dallas Police Investigating Main Street Murder

The Dallas Police are seeking the public’s help in trying to locate two suspects who were involved in a verbal altercation that took a deadly turn according to a news release.

Just after 11 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 1900 block of Main Street near St. Paul, on October 8.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found Dyawn Thomas, 38, lying in the park with multiple gunshot wounds.

While officers waited for Dallas Fire and Rescue, they began to immediately administer CPR.

When Dallas Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene, they transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he died according to police.

As police continued to search for evidence and clues, their investigation determined the victim was in a verbal fight with two men, a white male, and a black male, before being shot.

The investigation is ongoing.
