Police are asking the public for information about a shooting that occurred in Northwest Dallas on Monday that took the life of a 21-year-old man.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call around 5:30 a.m. on May 19 in the 2600 block of Willowbrook Road. Upon arrival, they determined that a male victim had been shot at the location.

The victim, identified as Demarcus Price, 21, managed to transport himself to a nearby hospital. Despite medical intervention, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police have not yet released information about potential suspects or whether Price was specifically targeted.
