The Dallas Police Department says a suspect shot at an off-duty police officer early Thursday evening during an apparent road rage incident.

Following the ordeal, additional officers arrived at the scene at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Julius Schepps Freeway around 5:50 p.m. The Dallas Police Department says the off-duty officer was in uniform at the time of the shooting.

While the suspect shot at the officer’s vehicle, the department said no injuries were sustained. It is unclear which party initiated the road rage incident.
