Man, 60, Dies After Northeast Dallas Shooting; City’s 8th Homicide Of September

A 60-year-old man died after a Wednesday morning shooting in Northeast Dallas, police said.

Shannon Rodriguez was found with gunshot wounds around 9:15 a.m. in the 7100 block of Holly Hill Drive. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported him to a hospital, where he died.

It was the eighth homicide police have reported in Dallas in September.

No suspect or motive has been announced. The investigation remains active under case No. 130407-2025.
