A man was shot in Fort Worth on Tuesday evening while riding a bicycle.

Fort Worth police responded to a call just after 8 p.m. on August 2 at the intersection of Weber Avenue and Selene Street.

The man was riding his bike down Weber Avenue when occupants of a vehicle drove near and shot at him. The victim sustained two gunshot wounds, but they were not life-threatening. Authorities say he was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition.

Police think the victim and shooter knew each other.

Fort Worth detectives were investigating. They have not released a description of the suspects or their vehicle.
