“We, the families and loved ones of Marilyn Bixler, Diane Delahunty, Helen Lee, and Mamie Miya, are grateful to hear of today’s four additional capital murder indictments. These indictments are another step in holding Billy Chemirmir accountable for the full extent of his horrible crimes. We’d like to thank police and prosecutors for listening to us and for their continued efforts to see that justice is done for all the victims and their loved ones.”

The four new indictments add to the 18 capital murder indictments, and two attempted capital murder indictments Chemirmir already faces in Dallas and Collin counties, according to NBC 5.

Billy Chemirmir was found guilty in April for the murder of Lu Thi Harris and sentenced to life in prison, The Dallas Express reported. After a four-day trial, the jury returned the guilty verdict following 40 minutes of deliberation.

The guilty verdict came five months after a November 21 mistrial in which the jury became “hopelessly deadlocked” when one juror refused to change her stance.
