Authorities have arrested a North Texas woman for her alleged role in a violent July 4 attack on the Prairieland U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Detention Center.

Janette Goering, apprehended at her Carrollton home on October 21, faces charges of aiding in the commission of terrorism and is held in Johnson County Jail on a $5 million bond.

She is the 18th person arrested in connection with the incident, which injured one Alvarado police officer.

On the night of July 4, several masked individuals dressed in black, some armed, targeted the facility, damaging vehicles and security cameras in the parking lot. When an officer attempted to intervene, gunfire erupted, striking the officer in the neck.

Federal prosecutors recently charged two other North Texans, Cameron Arnold and Zachary Evetts, on October 16, accusing them of orchestrating the attack as part of an “Antifa cell.” They face federal counts of providing material support to terrorists, attempted murder of U.S. officers, and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

The charges follow President Donald Trump’s executive order labeling Antifa a “domestic terrorist organization.”
