The Lewisville Police Department is asking the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect.

The suspect, a Hispanic male between the ages of 16 and 22, apparently used a gun to commit “multiple offenses,” the department posted to Facebook. He is considered “armed and dangerous.”

“Members of the public are strongly discouraged from approaching the suspect,” said Officer Tre Mathis to The Dallas Express. “We want them to call 9-1-1.”

A surveillance photo shows the suspect entering a store in an apparent black and red Nike hoodie. He was last seen wearing the hoodie, along with gray and black shorts with a white image, a gray backpack, black shoes, and a black/red skull graphic face mask.

The suspect allegedly committed a robbery last week, following others within the past two months, according to Mathis. The robberies occurred in South Lewisville, specifically in the area bounded by S. I-35E, S. State Highway 121 Business, and E. Corporate Drive.

Investigators have not been able to identify the suspect, which is why they reached out to the public for help, Mathis said. After identifying him, the police will file an arrest warrant.

The department asked anyone with information to contact Detective K. Kelly at 972-219-3661 or [email protected]
