A 26-year-old Buffalo Grove “transgender,” Erin L. White, who identifies with “She/They,” was arrested on Friday for allegedly vandalizing a newly constructed Tesla sales, service, and delivery center located on the 900 block of Dundee Road.

According to the Buffalo Grove Police Department, White faces charges of felony criminal damage to property and misdemeanor criminal trespass following the incident.
The vandalism, captured in photographs shared on social media, involved spray-painting profanity-laden messages on the glass facade of the Tesla facility.
The graffiti included phrases such as “Trump Sold US,” “F*ck Elon Musk,” and “Trans Rights are Human Rights.”
The 50,000-square-foot Tesla center, part of the Bison Crossing development, was targeted just as it neared its opening, causing significant damage to the property.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2 a.m. on March 14, 2025, after reports of the vandalism, and White was apprehended shortly thereafter.
The Buffalo Grove Police Department stated that the investigation is ongoing, but no additional suspects are currently being sought.
White is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Rolling Meadows.
The Tesla dealership, a high-profile target due to its association with Elon Musk—who now serves as a senior adviser to President Donald Trump and heads the Department of Government Efficiency—has not yet commented publicly on the incident.
This incident bears striking similarities to two previous cases reported by the Dallas Express, underscoring a troubling pattern of vandalism and violence targeting Tesla dealerships, allegedly perpetrated by individuals identifying as “transgender.”
