Dallas police arrested a man after officers spotted him conducting suspected drug deals on Pacific Avenue, leading to the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a firearm.

Kenneth Dunson, 31, was taken into custody around 11:50 a.m. on July 27 in the 900 block of Pacific Avenue after Downtown Task Force officers observed him approaching multiple people in apparent drug transactions, per a July 30 press release from the department.

The arrest highlights ongoing efforts by specialized police units to combat street-level drug dealing in Dallas’s urban core. Downtown areas often struggle with open-air drug markets that impact both residents and businesses.
