Dallas police arrested a 19-year-old man after a fatal shooting early February 21 in the 120 block of Bridges Street.
Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 12:00 a.m. Upon arrival, police determined that 48-year-old Michael Ellegde had suffered a gunshot wound at the location.
Emergency responders pronounced Ellegde dead at the scene.
Investigators identified 19-year-old Isaac Amaya as the suspect. Police arrested Amaya and transported him to the Dallas County Jail, where authorities charged him with murder.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
