Dallas police are looking for suspects involved in the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old early Sunday morning.
In the early morning on September 25, at approximately 1:24 a.m., police responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of Al Lipscomb Way.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 14-year-old boy lying in a vacant lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a nearby hospital by Dallas Fire and Rescue, where he later died.
The victim’s name has not been released pending autopsy and family notification.
Police believe the shooting may have taken place after an altercation between groups, according to a local news outlet.
Witnesses told police that the armed suspects fled toward a nearby apartment complex.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
