After both teams had a bye week during week seven of the NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings will compete on October 31st.

The Dallas Cowboys had a great start to their season. So far, they have only lost to the Superbowl champions, Tampa Bay, in their season opener. Going 5–0 after game one and winning a big game against the New England Patriots, the Cowboys are in a strong position going into Week 8.

Being ranked No. 4 in NFL Week Eight power ranking, quarterback Dak Prescott is looking like an MVP candidate after a broken ankle last season. According to Pro Football Network, they have unlimited potential offensively, and their defense is making reinforcements stronger. The only threat that the cowboys have is Dak Prescott’s prolonged calf injury.

The Minnesota Vikings will be going into Week Eight with a record 3–3 setting in the middle of the pack. They are known as a team that can play up to their potential or down to it. The Vikings will be looking to get a much-needed win with the ability to still be in the wildcard conversation.

Ranked No. 14 in NFL week eight rankings, the Vikings may not have as much firepower as the Cowboys. Still, their defense has proven to be strong, and with Dak potentially not playing due to his calf strain, the Vikings will be looking to explore any potential offensive weaknesses.

While the Minnesota Vikings lead the series 8–6 on Cowboys home turf, the Cowboys lead the series 11–7 on Vikings home field.

This will be a home game for the Vikings playing in the U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 31st. The kick-off will be at 7:20 p.m. CDT on NBC. It will be broadcast in Dallas, Texas, on radio KFAN 100.3.
